Our Story
Bhaggyam Constructions was
founded by Mr. V. Ramaswami, a
former Assistant Planner with the Chennai Metropolitan Development
Authority (CMDA).
Leveraging deep expertise in urban planning, regulatory processes,
and infrastructure, he took voluntary retirement to pursue his
passion for construction—establishing Bhaggyam Constructions to
deliver technically sound and aesthetically thoughtful buildings.
His values of ethical practice,
customer-centricity, and
uncompromising quality continue to
guide the company to this day.
Under his stewardship, Bhaggyam has successfully completed over
3 million square feet of built-up
space, including premium apartments, individual villas, commercial
buildings, and institutional spaces.
Our work has earned the trust of hundreds of families and
institutions who continue to vouch for our transparency and
long-term reliability.
Bhaggyam Constructions began with a single idea—to build spaces that people would be proud to call their own. With my experience in CMDA and a passion for responsible development, I laid the first foundation stone in the mid-1980s. Since then, our journey has been one of growth, grit, and grace. Today, as I watch the next generation take the lead—with their global learning, modern ideas, and technical strength—I feel confident that the Bhaggyam legacy is in safe hands.
